I became a writer because I was born a writer. It is who I am.
Writing is a portal into knowing myself completely. It is a discovery, an opening that unfurls my imagination, my emotions, and the skill it takes to translate my own complexity into a visceral language that can be understood. That is my goal every time I reach for a pen.
I am an editor and writing coach because I have an innate and cultivated ability to take a writer from beginning to end, and everywhere in between.
Even after their work has been thoroughly edited by other editors, unsatisfied writers come to me. Inevitably, I find discrepancies. Extraneous details that deplete the writing of its strength. Inconsistencies of voice that throw the writing off its course. I pull those loose threads in and facilitate a seamless weave of written words.
It is my passion and determination to do so with strength, impact and a tremendous amount of heart.
